You got the Call!

So you got the call for interview. Congratulations, you are one step ahead of starting a successful career. But even a candidate can be rejected by a simple call. Bear in mind that;
- the caller is extremely busy, so don't waste much of his/her time
- the caller wants to test you, he/she can be either receptionist, or even the manager
- the caller has called a lot of candidates with a lot of attitudes, make sure you are the good one

During that short, exciting conversation, be calm and try to do the following;

1. Collect all informations.
Company name, address, contact person, when is the interview held, etc. Avoid chatting. Be a pro.

2. Set the date or reschedule
If the time is good, confirm with them, if not, then reschedule at their/yours convenient times. Don't push yourself too hard on one interview, you still need the energy to live on after that.

3. Call for confirmation
1 day or few hours before the interview, call the company for confirmation. It is to avoid any miscommunication, and to save time for both parties. And it is also to show that you are really interested with this job and you handle your schedule in a professional way.

4. Be polite
Communication is an art, but you dont need to be an artist to get the job done. Be polite, ask if there is anything else he/she wants to say, and part with him/her as polite as possible. Remember that he/she is also a human being, and probably having hard time calling all the candidates (he/she enjoyed it? I don't think so)

Good luck, be brave, stay calm, and get the interview DONE!
